The Study Update was done in accordance with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario “Manual for Municipal Roads, February 1991”. The Study divides the Town’s roads into sections, each of which contains information as to the physical characteristics of the road, traffic volumes, condition, and recommended improvements.
The Needs Study examined all roadways and public laneways under the jurisdiction of the Town of Orangeville as of December 31, 2015. Roads in new subdivisions that have not been assumed by the Town in accordance with the Subdivision Agreements have been excluded from the study
